Training for Professionals
Jannawi shares its expertise through a range of professional training programs delivered to government agencies and other organisations. Our training can also be tailored to meet the specific needs of individual services and workforces.
We invite you to contact us to discuss your professional development needs. Jannawi works collaboratively with organisations to design and deliver training that strengthens practice and supports safer outcomes for children, young people, and families.
Areas of training include child sexual abuse, therapeutic work with children, supporting victim-survivors of family violence, and trauma-informed practice and interventions.
Topic ideas:
To Mesh and to Mould – Explores cultural self-awareness and the “culture of violence” to strengthen responses to domestic and family violence in culturally diverse communities.
Engaging Children Develops skills to engage children therapeutically around abuse, coercive control, safety planning, and difficult conversations with caregivers.
Violence-Informed Intervention – Examines trauma-informed practice through a social lens, supporting practitioners to recognise and respond to the impacts of childhood trauma.
But He’s a Good Dad – Focuses on engaging fathers who use violence, balancing accountability with child safety and family wellbeing.
