Jannawi hosted over 70 people who came along to our Welcome Event on Thursday 15 February 2024 to see our new home. Many shared it was a wonderful night to learn more about the incredible work that Jannawi does.

We had a beautiful Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony by Brendan Kerin from the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council. We then heard from the Hon Jo Haylen, MP, Minister for Transport and Member for Summer Hill, Dr Michael Easson, co-founding Director and Executive Chairman, EG Funds and from myself who shared the importance of our new home.

Importantly, attendees people valued hearing from one of our clients who told a powerful story of trauma and abuse which has since transformed to healing and family growth through receiving holistic and sustained services. This story is not included in the video as a way of respecting privacy.
